Chapter 11: Marketing Hydrotherapy Programs

• Marketing and promoting hydrotherapy treatments and programs to existing and potential clients, is an important aspect of a successful hydrotherapy program.
  
  
• Marketing hydrotherapy programs can be a creative, enjoyable and successful process.

• An in-depth Client Interview can be valuable to determine the health & wellness goals of a client and make recommendations for treatment programs, including hydrotherapy programs.

• It is possible to develop a water theme in the decor and other aspects of the facility.

Hydrotherapy Marketing Programs

Teaching Exercise: 
Create a sample one-page flyer or brochure promoting hydrotherapy programs and treatments. You can use stock photography example photos that you can find online at websites such as Shutterstock www.shutterstock.com  Search on key words, such as,  spa relaxation. If you were to create a flyers, brochures or websites using photos from stock photography websites, you would a pay fee for these photos, which often can be reasonable, given the quality and variety available.

Teaching Exercise:  
Design a complete marketing program for a hydrotherapy program. This could be what specific combinations of brochures, flyers, DVD presentations, website and advertising they would include, with some detail into the design of each components.
